Mr. T

Driving home tonight from a supper out, the kids are in the backseat getting a little loud, but it's a happy, giggling, getting along together kind of loud. We manage to get them to quiet down a bit and they begin to look out the window.

A couple of minutes later, Ben says " Am I allowed to make a wish on a star?" We say "Yes, of course, you don't need to ask permission for that."

"Well," he says "I wish my name had a ' T ' in it"

Across the road

It is a busy time here in Gordoland. Lots of reprints, collages, dvd and designs, all to prepare Others for Christmas. It is starting to get a little more under control and I find myself thinking and preparing... I can start to see across the road.

Pablo Picasso Quotes

Pablo Picasso - Spanish Artist - 1881/1973

+ I don't say everything, but I paint everything.

+ Art washes away from the soul the dust of everyday life.

+ Every child is an artist. The problem is how to remain an artist once he grows up.

+ Painting is just another way of keeping a diary. "

I made this image on my way to Tatamagouche recently.

I feel like I am at a place where I can look ahead and travel a new road.

Blogging

I have been quietly making an occasional Blog since May and keeping it to myself, not sure why, just being shy. Well, I got my friend Rob hooked and it has encouraged me to share. I hope to post more frequently, so stay tuned...

Tatamagouche

I recently was one of 3 leaders of a photographic course at the Tatamagouche Centre in Tatamagouche, N.S. http://tatacentre.ca . It was a very enriching experience for me, it was my 1st time acting as a facilitator and I thank Margot and Frith for their support and the gifts they shared at this event. I also want to thank all who participated and shared some of themselves with the group. We are offering the program again next year, I am already looking forward to it!Here are few images taken in and near Tatamagouche. More will come.

Peace.
